Reorganize the forums?

If we are going to move to this new place, should we take the time to reorganize and condense some of the areas down? Also maybe rename things to straight out be the subject matter?

Maybe something like this:

Gathering Hall (General discussion should be moved from the bottom of the list to the top.)

Mecha (Is there really enough Gundam, SRW, and Mecha stuff nowadays to justify separate sections?)
Sci-Fi

Anime and Manga
Animation and Comics
Asian Movies and Television (Toku would be included here)
Western Movies and Television
Sports and Other Media

Video Games
Tabletop Games

Model Kits, Toys, and Figures
Creative

RPs?

I believe it comes down to how active each category is, though compressing some may be worth it just to see less "empty spots".
Should be an easy fix, especially before topics start popping up.

I'm for it. I'd like to see RPs stick around but unless there's some way to retain the old archives of the old forums, I don't think the community was ever so active and spread out we needed such a wide array of forums.

Just renaming and adding a few to Yoshi's ideas there but I think taking the time to remodel if we aren't doing a direct transplant anyways isn't a bad idea either. Doesn't necessarily have to be in that order if the Social stuff makes more sense above the interests stuff. The "Gardening and other stuff you're doing" thing is just a sort of random "hey I just did this" blurb forum idea concept, nothing serious but kinda general chitchat but not drawn out topic thing either.

Editing in a few blurbs, adding in a dedicated "Mecha" topic for the sake of the heritage of course
